International
Light has designed several systems that can be used in photomedicine and
environmental photobiology applications. The IL1704 and IL1404 Bilirubin
Phototherapy radiometers are specifically designed to monitor lamp output in
neonatal hyperbilirubinemia exposure chambers, with detectors designed to
exactly match the photo-oxidation response of Bilirubin in the blood of Jaundice
patients. These instruments are designed to measure in the 400nm to 500nm range.
The IL1704 comes standard with the SED033/BR/W probe while the IL1404 comes
standard with a compact SCL144 probe. Additional probes for wider spectral
coverage are also available including the SED(L)033/TBLU/W with a wider spectral
coverage.
The IL1750 and IL1450 Plant Growth
Radiometers with PAR detectors are designed to measure the effect of light on
plant growth. They features the new PAR detector, developed through the combined
efforts of International Light electro-optical engineers and a team of plant
physiologists.
The systems also use optional filters for each individual
plant growth band (TBLU, TRED, & TFRD) for wavelength-specific research into
the photobiological effect of lights on plants. These optional filters can be
incorporated into an interchangeable system for use with a single detector, or
multiplexed using several detectors and the A415 Detector
Multiplexer. |
